What The Heck?

I was only going to show this on Wednesdays, but what in the heck is going on here?  Why am I jumping all over the place?  Should I not be weighing myself everyday?  Or should I just stop worrying about it?

  1. I don't think you should weigh yourself everyday. I would think once a week would be good enough. Make sure you weigh yourself at the same time of the day. For example right after you get up in the morning or before you go to bed. There just too many variables that cause your weight to go up and down during the day. I am sure you know that when people start to exercise it is common for them to increase weight because muscle weighs more than fat. So, I wouldn’t focus too much on how many pounds you lost but judge yourself on how your cloths are fitting. If your cloths start to feel baggy you know you are doing something right.

  2. I weigh myself everyday...can't help it! Fluctuations are totally normal....oh and by the way...muscle does not weigh more than fat...a lb of muscle weighs the same as a lb of fat..a lb is a lb! (fat just takes up more space..muscle is denser)

  4. My point is when you exercise you gain muscle and lose fat. Because muscle is denser than fat it is common for people to gain or maintain their weight but lose inches and losing inches is what you are truly trying to do.
